A fantastic summer visit to North Uist & Mull with the chance to watch Corncrake, Golden Eagle, White-tailed Sea Eagle, Hen Harrier, Short-eared Owl, Red-necked Phalarope, Black Guillemot a plethora of breeding waders in beautiful scenery and surroundings

Outer Hebrides tour for Scottish speciality species. Main target birds usually seen are Corncrake, Golden Eagle, White-tailed Eagle, up close for Short-eared Owl, Hen Harrier, Red-necked Phalarope. Plus Skua's, Terns, seabirds and the sights and sounds of breeding Dunlin, Snipe, Redshank, Golden Plover and more.

Also recorded regularly Bottle-nosed Dolphin, Otter and the unexpected! A Snowy Owl in 2012!!

Outer Hebrides, Scotland May Tour 2026

11th - 17th May 2026

An amazing tour with Eagles, Owls, Harriers, seabirds, phalaropes, breeding waders, terns - a truly breathtaking trip of amazing birds and scenery!

Transport in a spacious 9-seater with either a complimentary lift from our base in Norfolk, or collection from meeting points en route -  A1 from Newark to Scotch Corner or Glasgow.
Includes ferry crossings to and from Uists.

Maximum group size 12 plus leaders in two vans.

Meeting point, Oban/Mallaig ferry terminal 11th May - though please note if travelling up with us, we leave Norfolk on 10th and stay overnight near Lockerbie en route (extra cost)

17th May we return to Mallaig/Oban and head back to Norfolk arriving back there late evening (depending on ferry timings, an additional overnight on the way home may be required)
