November 1st Norfolk Exclusive Day tour

We had the morning at Cley NWT highlights were nice views of Snow Bunting, plus Red-throated Diver, Guillemot, Razorbill, Common Scoter, Gannets and Red-breasted merganser offshore. Bearded Tits seen well from the East bank and a nice selection of waders from the hides with Ruff, Black-tailed Godwit, Dunlin, Snipe, Teal Wigeon, Shoveler & Gadwall all nice and close views. Raptors included Marsh Harrier, Red Kite & a Peregrine.

We headed to Stiffkey fen and Blakeney channel in the afternoon, highlights 100 Dark-bellied Brents, 30 Northern Pintail, 8 Red-breasted merganser, 25 Black-tailed Godwit, 100 Bar-tailed Godwit, 4 Grey Plover, 2 Ruff, 3 Greenshank, 4 Marsh harrier, and a Barn owl also a Water Rail calling. Last off nearby a Merlin and 5 Marsh harrier went to roost
