Weekend wader tours August - September
These trips will be mainly between August & Mid September, we can normally expect to record up to 20 species of waders - regular specialities are Curlew Sandpiper, Little Stint, Wood Sandpiper, Spotted Redshank & seen annually usually in singles Pectoral Sandpiper, White-rumped Sandpiper, Temmincks' Stint.
These birds will be amongst much larger numbers of Dunlin, Ruff, Grey Plover, Knot, Turnstone, Black-tailed Godwit, Bar-tailed Godwit, Sanderling, Grey Plover, European Golden Plover, Green Sandpiper, Snipe, Redshank, Turnstone, Lapwing, Curlew & Whimbrel.
We will also spend time working on identifying all of the above and for the more experienced taking a look at how we age juveniles & adults. There is always good photographic opportunities on this trip so if you have a camera with a 300mm or longer lens be sure to bring it along,

We can provide complete transport to and from an arranged point of collection.
The tour is usually designed for 2 days the cost excluding accommodation & food £65 per person. Tours are normally on Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday, but other days are sometimes available.
Bed & breakfast accommodation additional £32 per person per night if required.
