"Many thanks for the day out with you on Monday. I wasn't sure what to expect but the day certainly exceeded any expectations I might have had.
Your knowledge for all things flora and flora along with the birds, especially their songs and calls astounding.
We requested quite a few species on our list and although we didn't get to see them all we saw the ones we really wanted, along with some unexpected ones, for example the close view of the cuckoo and the two separate bitterns

The highlight of the day was without doubt the search for the nightjars, just when we thought we were not going to see or hear them you set off on your quest after hearing a lone male calling in the far distance, and about half an hour later there we are standing in a ride with churring all around us and a Nightjar flying over our heads, just a magical experience, we are still grinning like Cheshire cats!!
It was a great pleasure to spend time with you, your enthusiastic nature is most infectious."

"I'm dropping you an e-mail to say how much I enjoyed the 6 day wildlife tour with Norfolk Birding. It was wonderful to see birds such as honey Buzzard, Montagu's Harriers and Golden Orioles. Also the Swallowtail and Silver studded Blue butterflies were all new bird and butterfly species for me.
But it wasn't only the joy of seeing new species that I shall remember it is my new found ability to identify a lot more birdsong as I had to listen so much in the field on the tour. I can now differentiate between Reed and Sedge Warbler and songs with lesser notes such as Reed Bunting I got to know too."

Despite having a general interest in wildlife I am very much a novice when it comes to birding, and I came along in the hope of improving my knowledge and identification skills.

I found your love for birds, and your amazing and encyclopaedic knowledge of their songs, plumage, behaviour, habitats and migration, as well as the local area, very inspiring.
As a guide you were friendly, enthusiastic and an excellent teacher and able to communicate all this with ease and patience.
We saw a fantastic variety of birds of all kinds in a wide range of different habitats, culminating in the magnificent sight of the Montagu's Harriers at the end of the day.
I feel that I learned a huge amount in just those few hours, and the experience has genuinely changed the way I look at the world. I am now much more conscious of the birds around me than I was before."

"Another very enjoyable, action packed day birdwatching in Norfolk. Chris took us to several areas in North Norfolk which were simply full of unusual species , and he certainly knows these areas well. My friend was given some excellent tuition on bird songs and bird description. Another factor was that Chris was flexible to our needs and if there were particular species we wanted to see, he was able to oblige. I have been on several days birdwatching with Chris and each time I have seen different species and been to different areas around north and west Norfolk.
