These tours will be run throughout July 2008. We will be concentrating on finding and photographing some of our scarcer butterflies, dragonflies & damselflies. The trip can also be combined with a woodland walk and dawn chorus, for those wishing to have a full day.
The insect tour will start at 0900 and finish at 1500, for those wishing to undertake the dawn chorus then the day will start at 0600 at the chosen locality.
Insect Target species for these trips are divided into two trips
Trip One to see Swallowtail, Norfolk Hawker, Keeled Skimmer, Hairy Dragonfly
& Scarce Chaser with an array of the more regular species.
Trip Two to see White Admiral, Scarce Emerald Damselfly, Black Darter.
Cost for the insect trip inclusive of transport between sites* £35 per person
Cost for the dawn chorus and insect trip inclusive of transport between sites* £50 per person
*You will need to arrange transport to the starting point
