Daily Birdwatching Tours are normally built around itineraries of approximately 8 - 9 hours duration, but half days for 4 -5 hours are available and this is often well suited for wildlife photography tours.

Photography tours are normally built around itineraries of approximately 4 - 5 hours duration.
Tours will normally have a maximum of four clients plus the guide, occassionally we may have up to six people, you will be advised of this if this is likely to be the case.
Transport to and from the agreed meeting location, car parking fees, any reserve entrance fees, and food and drink are not included in the daily prices above.
Transport is included on our winter speciality tours, rare breeding bird tours & wader weekend tours. Transport can be provided for dailiy tours but is an additional cost.
Please bring your own food and drink. Travelling between locations during the day will be by prior arrangement.
Birdwatching Clients should bring a pair of binoculars (and a telescope and tripod if you have one).
For hire - We have spare scopes and binoculars - please advise beforehand if you require either of these.
Specific mobility - If you have anyor other health issues please advise us beforehand. This can often be catered for.
Accommodation - if you need somewhere to stay whether for a day, weekend or week let us know and we will be able to help.
Tours typically start between 0800 - 0900 at an agreed location, but can start as early as 0600am by prior agreement where an early start maybe required to improve the chances of seeing certain species. Similarly we offer later starts for trips involving searching for crepuscular and nocturnal species. We visit many well known and some lesser known sites - we are sure where ever we visit you will enjoy an enhanced and edcuational trip with us.
We will meet you and start with an overview on the day or half-day ahead, highlighting the intended route, any health and safety issues and the birds we will be looking for.
The walking will generally be of a gentle nature with frequent stops to look at the birds, insects & wildlfife. Distances will usually be moderate and terrain covered is generally on paths and not difficult in nature (though longer walks maybe available if you have a specific request).
We will stop somewhere suitable at lunchtime for you to eat your own packed lunch and, if on a full-day tour, the day will typically finish at around 1600-1700. By prior arrangement we can for a single group of people arrange to stop for pub/cafe lunch should you so desire
